I use a shared computer at uni, with Windows 7. This morning I tried to start my Abaqus and got this message:
'This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.
Abaqus Error: Unable to shutdown executable for Abaqus/CAE. Exiting...'
And then comes another box saying:
'SMACgmCaeGuiMod has stopped working
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is avaiable.'
I searched in the forum for some similar thread, but couldn't find. Searching in other forums, I tried to add some commands in the abaqus_v6.env file, but kept on failing.
I have no idea what can be wrong. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, fail. Do you guys have any idea of what can I do for fixing it?
